Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 SCM and experience in designing, implementing, and supporting supply chain solutions for business requirements.
The consultant will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business processes, translate requirements into effective Dynamics 365 solutions, and support successful implementation and optimization of supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules based on business requirements.
• Work with modules such as Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Product Information Management, and Warehouse Management.
• Analyze existing supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Gather and document business requirements from clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct requirement gathering, business process analysis, and fit-gap analysis.
• Prepare functional requirement documents, process flows, configuration documents, and other project documentation.
• Configure and customize Dynamics 365 SCM functionality according to project requirements.
• Work closely with technical consultants and developers to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in system testing, integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios and test cases.
• Conduct user training sessions and prepare user guides and training materials.
• Support data migration activities and assist with data validation.
• Provide functional support during implementation, go-live, and post-implementation phases.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide recommendations for improving business processes and maximizing the value of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 5–7 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management or Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management business processes.
• Hands-on experience with Procurement & Sourcing.
• Hands-on experience with Inventory Management.
• Knowledge of Product Information Management.
• Experience with Warehouse Management and related processes.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, warehouse, and supply chain operations.
• Experience in requirements gathering and functional analysis.
• Experience in Dynamics 365 SCM configuration and implementation.
• Experience working on full-cycle Dynamics 365 implementations.
• Strong knowledge of functional testing and UAT processes.
• Good understanding of data migration and integration concepts.
• Ability to create functional specifications and project documentation.
• Strong communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management certification.
• Experience working on multiple Dynamics 365 SCM implementation projects.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.
• Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.
• Understanding of integration between Dynamics 365 SCM and other enterprise applications.
• Experience with Agile project methodologies.
