Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O development, customization, integration, and deployment.

The Technical Consultant will work closely with functional consultants, developers, project managers, and clients to understand business requirements and deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality Dynamics 365 solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and implement solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

• Develop and customize Dynamics 365 F&O features using X++.

• Work with X++, .NET, and related Microsoft technologies to develop business solutions.

• Develop custom extensions, forms, tables, reports, classes, workflows, and other Dynamics 365 components.

• Follow Microsoft-recommended extension-based development practices.

• Develop integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and external applications and services.

• Work with APIs, web services, Data Entities, and integration frameworks.

• Develop and configure data entities for data migration and system integration.

• Participate in technical design discussions and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Review functional specifications and prepare technical design documents.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.

• Develop reports and customized business processes based on project requirements.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure development standards and best practices are followed.

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and technical troubleshooting.

• Identify and resolve performance, configuration, and development-related issues.

• Support data migration activities and assist with data validation.

• Work with deployment teams to support development, testing, UAT, and production deployments.

• Troubleshoot issues during implementation and post-go-live support.

• Maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and system components.

• Work with Azure DevOps or similar tools for source control, work tracking, and CI/CD activities.

• Collaborate with distributed teams and communicate technical solutions clearly to functional and business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX technical development.

• Strong hands-on experience with X++ development.

• Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O architecture and development framework.

• Experience developing customizations and extensions in Dynamics 365 F&O.

• Experience working with tables, forms, classes, extensions, data entities, workflows, and reports.

• Strong knowledge of .NET and object-oriented programming concepts.

• Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O integrations.

• Experience working with REST APIs, web services, and external system integrations.

• Strong understanding of Data Entities and data management.

• Experience with SQL and relational database concepts.

• Knowledge of Azure services and Microsoft cloud technologies is preferred.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or similar version-control and development tools.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and deployment processes.

• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical certification.

• Experience working on full-cycle Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce.

• Experience with Power Platform and Power Automate.

• Knowledge of Azure Integration Services.

• Experience working with Microsoft Power BI and reporting solutions.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

• Experience working with international clients and distributed project teams.
